I love this idea! So do my kids...this is a chalk board. Painted with black chalkboard paint and then I painted the sides black and green and sanded. The chalk board really works! The little clothes pins hold notes and pictures up, while the muslin bag holds all your chalk! Ingenious. My kids love this in their rooms but I think I am going to put one in my laudry room.
